I had a great year adding exercise and improving my diet in 2021 but I did not lose weight. I knew I was targeting Jan 1 as my "fresh start" date. I do really good when I do "streaks" so I often use the first of each month as reset dates (trying to go dairy free again, and again, and again).
So to prep for Jan 1 fresh start date - I gave myself freedom to eat food I don't normally eat, I stopped exercising for two weeks and I read the book "How to Change" - I was delighted to see that the things that I do find work well for me are backed by research and I was excited to learn some new tips.
Is anyone else taking a behavioral science approach to their goals?

For me exercise, nutrition, and mind set all work together! I think when you hit my age, every day that you wake up is a blessing! After losing 60 lbs I was taken off cholesterol meds. ... in 3 months it was back at 300. Now my sugar has spiked and I'm down 75 pounds. Every day I remind myself of the alternative...
