Hi all, I would love to be in a motivating group where we lift each other up and help keep each other going with praise and kindness!

I had started a motivation group several weeks ago. Only four people responded but not consistently. I am ALL FOR a consistent, ongoing motivation group!
What expectations do y’all have for a motivation group?
To begin with…
Please share your most recent short term goal, your challenges, struggles, and any successes you have experienced this past week.
Now, my sad 😞 story.
I am 64 years young and I have gained 9 pounds in the past 3.5 weeks and am in tears over it.
My short term goal is to lose 5 pounds by April 5.
My exercising is consistent. I run 20 minutes a day and ride my stationary bike 30 minutes a day.
Once I get an injection in my back on Tuesday, I pray I can increase my exercise.
Finally, fiber is a MAJOR issue for me. I am going to begin drinking more water tomorrow.
How are y’all doing??? What are your challenges?

Hi, I’m 37 I’ve gone through 14 rounds of Chemo since March of 2022 to date finished my last Chemo Round on the seventh of this month I will continue immuno therapy this year.
35 rounds of intensive radiation so therefore I’m already in menopause. During my treatment, I’ve remained physically, active as much as I could, and watched what I ate. However without realizing it until you get on the scale and you see your numbers have crept up 😱

Hi Girlstrong-
Thank you for reaching out and sharing your story. You are not alone in experiencing weight gain after Chemo. Another unfortunate side effect of treatment. You have been through a lot, so make sure to give yourself grace :)
Strong work with making activity a priority! I am sure this has not been easy.
We are glad you found the app and are cheering you on~ Joanna (MyNetDiary Dietitian)
